Wearing the print dress

Here's what I plan to wear tomorrow to work, with a purchased brown linen jacket.
And the same dress with different accessories.
The gold belt is a bit much for work though, and there's no way I could walk from the train station in these shoes even if they slim my legs!

  4. Just do what we American's do with our footwear: wear sneakers to the bus and carry your nice shoes in your lunch bag.
We're a nation of well dressed women sporting tennis shoes. Well, at least in the cities with public transportation

  5. I've been having a few difficulties posting - so I'm sorry for the deleted post on the other comment.

Ruthie, I think this dress if very chic on you. This gives you a great silhouette - is it the new fit, or the horizontal stripes, or the defined waist? You should experiment with these characteristics.

Ruthie, if I may - what if you shortened it a bit? How does it look? Maybe pin it up and post a photo?

  10. Gorgeous dress and it looks great on you. Like BeeBee said, wear sneakers to the bus or to work and change when you get there. With all the push to get people to be more active, it is not uncommon to see people beautifully dressed sporting sneakers walking to work. Change into those lovely heels when you get there and you will look great at work.

  11. Nice dress. You look great! but please no trainers! Wear flats. Cute, professional, comfortable. No fuzzy bits leftover from your socks on your hose.
