Smartening up for work

I decided I need to smarten up a bit for work. I love bright colours, prints, textures and comfort, but actually need to also present a polished professional image, which I'm not sure is quite happening at the moment.

So I have ordered online, and had sent to the store, these TMLewin shirts. They were in the sale :-)
 Blue stripe
 Teal check
Pink spot

Hoping these will look smart when I pick them up at the weekend.

I really need to crack jacket making, and then I could have some nice suits to wear with the shirts.

    Ooh, those are lovely shirts. I think they will be very useful and smart, working with existing items and making the entire outfit look more polished.

    These look very smart. You don't have to sew everything!
    Having said that, I am sure you could make a fabulous jacket. It has been on your wish list for a while......:)

    Shirts always look smart, especially with a lovely pencil skirt and dark hose or tights. Great choices Ruthie.

    I really like the cut of the shirts.
    Just dive in on the jacket. You will learn a lot, it might be wearable and the second one definitely will be.
    ps- finidng it hard to prove I am not a robot.
