Button themed Rug and Fabric
Apparently available from August (when the new catalogue comes out), though not yet on the website, I was hugely excited to see this button themed rug (I think called Tastrup) when I was in my local Ikea for something else.
I didn't buy it as it wasn't on my list, but I may have to purchase on a future occasion, because it is just fabulous for a sewing room. In the UK the rug is £35.00.

Love the theme. Even using some of the large buttons off the fabric to make pillows. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Ruthie! Thanks for showing us the photos. I will be at an IKEA store next week and so now I know to be on the lookout for it. It would look so cute in my sewing room. I decorated a clock with buttons last fall, and it cheers me every time I look at it. Ah, life's simple pleasures!

Did anyone ever find the actual fabric? No they don't carry either anymore but I would really love to come across some fabric. I did get the rug and it is awesome but I sure would enjoy making curtains out of that fabric❗
