Teal jacket now with lining
The teal wool jacket now has pockets and a lining which is at least mostly attached.
I still need to trim the seam allowances, do the sleeves hems, topstitch, buttonhole and button etc, but I think you can see that quite a bit of progress has been made.
Hopefully this will be completed tomorrow and then I can start on the white and teal print knit top.
Tomorrow we will be half way through the month, though I am not sure that three tops and one jacket is far enough through, since I need six tops, a jacket and four bottoms to have a completed wardrobe.
Its at this point I am wondering if trying to sew a whole SWAP in a month was too ambitious.....

Hi Ruthie!!
This "whirlwind" sewing doesn't make your nervous or take the fun out of it all??
I'm AMAZED at all you get done!! ;)
Soft hug,
Rhonda in Montreal (PR), who made two (2) fleece scarves all day ;) :(
Sewing a whole SWAP in one month is ambitious, but you are one who can do it. On the other hand, you have a real life with demands on your time. If you don't get this done in the prescribed time frame, don't beat-up yourself. Things happen. Do the best you can and keep moving on.
If it doesn't get done in the time, you will still have however many new garments in your wardrobe to wear, which still makes you a winner. Having said that, if anyone can do it, you can and I have faith that if you want to get those remaining items sewn in the time, then you jolly well will.
